At The Doggy Dojo, our team is the heart of everything we do. Made up of passionate, caring individuals, we show up every day with patience, creativity, and a genuine love for dogs. From playtime to quiet moments, our team is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where pups—and people—feel truly cared for.
Krystal
General Manager
Krystal joined the Dojo in April 2018 and is our General Manager. Known for her hardworking and loyal nature, she brings a strong background in Animal Science from UIUC and loves watching dogs grow up while giving them plenty of affection. At home, she’s kept busy by her husky mixes, a pomsky, and a tabby cat.
Anita
Admin & Enrollment Coordinator
Anita has been an official Dojo team member since June 2019 and serves as our Enrollment & Admin Coordinator. She brings compassionate, friendly, and silly energy to everything she does and loves building strong relationships with pups and their families. Outside the Dojo, she enjoys baking, gardening, family time, and life with her dog Luna (short for lunatic).
Arianne
Daycare Associate
Ari has been with the Dojo since September 2017 and is a Dojo Daycare Associate. Known for her loyal, kind, and hardworking nature, she loves the daily interaction with dogs and the positive energy it brings. Outside the Dojo, Ari enjoys cooking, reading, watching TV, and spending time with friends.
Briana
Daycare Associate - Overnights
Briana joined the Dojo in September 2023 and is a Dojo Daycare Associate – Overnights. Known for her friendly, family-oriented nature, she finds fulfillment in caring for our pups and making sure they’re happy and healthy while staying at the Dojo. A homebody at heart, she dreams of one day having a bulldog for their loyal and loving personality.
Gaby
Daycare Associate
Gaby joined the Dojo in November 2025 and is a Dojo Daycare Associate. She brings vibrant, bold, and authentic energy to the team and treats every pup like her own adopted fur baby. Outside the Dojo, Gaby enjoys photography, building with Legos, and spending time with her American Bulldog mix, Willow Fae, and her alley-cat rescue, Midnight Solaris.

Daycare Associate - Lead Handler
Letty has been part of the Dojo since March 2017, and is a Dojo Daycare Associate and Lead Handler. Outgoing and charismatic, she’s a steady anchor on the floor and loves spending her days with her favorite furry friends. Outside the Dojo, Letty enjoys art shows, concerts, volunteering at shelters, and time with her three dogs.

Daycare Associate - Groomer
Rose has been part of the Dojo since June 2025 and is a Dojo Daycare Associate – Groomer. She loves spending hands-on time with pups in our cage-free environment and getting to really know each dog’s personality. Outside the Dojo, Rose enjoys dramas, anime, K-pop concerts and events, and keeping up with her high-energy pup Bumi (named after Avatar: The Last Airbender).

Co-founder
Oscar is a Co-Founder of The Doggy Dojo, founded in 2010, and has been hands-on since day one. A self-taught business owner, he’s driven by building a thoughtful, crate-free daycare rooted in love, care, and community, with a constant focus on improvement. Outside the Dojo, Oscar values time with his wife and kids and is always looking for ways to uplift his team and strengthen the Dojo experience.
